A Bay Minette man was arrested on domestic violence warrants from the Atmore Police Department on Dec. 15, according to officials.
Public Information Officer Sgt. Darrell McMann said in a release that Quentin Hands, 47, was arrested warrants for domestic violence II stalking and domestic violence III harassment.
McMann said in June 2024, the APD was contacted by a victim in reference to her estranged husband, Hands, allegedly sending threatening text messages.
Due to the history of domestic violence an investigator obtained the arrest warrants, McMann said.
McMann said Hands left the Atmore area during the investigation, and was subsequently indicted by the grand jury.
Hands was taken into custody on December 15, 2024 when he was observed by an APD officer at a local business.
He was transported to the Escambia County Detention Center in Brewton.
