Escambia Academy is ranked No. 7 in AISA in the first Alabama Sports Writers Association boys basketball poll, which was released today.

The Cougars are 10-2 on the season. EA has claimed wins over Oak Park Christian, Monroe Academy twice, Sparta Academy, MEMA, South Choctaw, Lighthouse Private Christian Academy and Jackson Academy.
