Atmore man arrested Jan. 5 on theft, violating domestic violence protection order charges

An Atmore man was arrested on theft of property and violating a domestic violence protection order charges Jan. 5, according to officials.
Atmore Police Department Public Information Officer Sgt. Darrell McMann said in a release that Mitchell Hall, 43, was charged with theft of property I and violating a domestic violence protection order.
McMann said on Jan. 5, APD officers were notified by a victim that her former husband, Hall, allegedly stole her vehicle from her residence. He added that the victim had a protective order against Hall.
“Officers located Hall a short time later and took him into custody,” he said.
Hall was then transported the Escambia County Detention Center in Brewton.
