Donald Ray Jackson, 58, of Walnut Hill, Fla., passed away on Jan. 2, 2025 at his residence.

He is preceded in death by his step-father, Eddie Wayne Boggs.

Donald is survived by his mother, Corine Thomas Boggs; his siblings, Susan Boggs of Hartselle, Sarah (Marti) Pearson of Hartselle, Clara (P.J.) Thomas of Walnut Hill, Fla., Carrie Ellingsworth of Oregon and Gail Ellingsworth of Oregon; and numerous nieces, nephews, family and friends.

Graveside services will be held today, Jan. 7, 2025 at noon at Pine Barren Baptist Church Cemetery with Bro. Don Sanks officiating. Interment followed in Pine Barren Baptist Church Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 11 a.m. until 11:30 a.m. today at Johnson-Quimby Funeral Home.

Active pallbearers were P.J. Thomas, Joshua Muse, Joseph Muse, Matthew Boggs, Chris Roberts and Barry Montgomery.

Johnson-Quimby Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
