ECHS improves to 9-5 overall, and 1-0 in Class 4A, Area 2 play. The Blue Devils face Jackson in area action Friday night at approximately 6:30 p.m.

Adams said Taylor scored the team’s first nine points of the game.

ECHS led by double digits at halftime.

Adams said the team came out a little flat in the second half.
“There are a few things we need to clean up,” he said. “We feel like it was a good win in the area. We got everybody involved in the game. Last night, we felt like we became a better team because everybody was cheering each other on.”

Adams added that Tai Henderson hit a late-game dunk to put the game way.
