3 Atmore men, 1 Auburn man arrested on possession of drug charges Jan. 9

Three Atmore men and an Auburn man were arrested Jan. 9 on possession of drug charges after a search warrant was executed on a residence in the 2100 block of Martin Luther King Ave, according to officials.
Atmore Police Department Public Information Officer Sgt. Darrell McMann said in a release that Rodderick Lee, 49, of Atmore, Marcus Giddens, 49, of Auburn, Macheal Martin, 57, of Atmore, and Joey Wiggins, 47, of Atmore, were arrested and charged with unlawful possession of a controlled substance with intent to distribute a controlled substance, possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia.
McMann said at approximately 7:05 p.m. on Thursday, APD narcotics investigators executed a search warrant, and recovered a large amount of cocaine along with synthetic cannabis (spice), marijuana and items used in the packaging of narcotics.
All four were then transported to the Escambia County Detention Center in Brewton.
