Christopher French Linger, 45 of Frisco City, passed away on Fri., Jan. 10, 2025 at Providence Hospital in Mobile.

Mr. Linger was born in Aiken, S.C. and had been a resident of Monroe County for 40 years.

He attended Community Fellowship Baptist Church and was a member of Goodway Volunteer Fire Department. Mr. Linger had worked as a night manager for Country Inn and Suites.

He is preceded in death by his mother, Theresa Lynn Hearn Linger; and his grandparents, Walter and Carolyn Hearn and Robert and Lillian Linger.

Survivors include his father, Charles A. “Chuck” Linger and wife, Becky, of Frisco City; his brother, Brandon Phillip Linger and wife, Jana, of Frisco City; his sister, Amanda Ives and husband, Logan, of Bay Minette; and nieces, Joy and Ellie Linger of Frisco City.

Funeral services will be held this Fri., Jan. 17, 2025 at 2 p.m. at Monroe Chapel Funeral Home with Pastor Randall Jernigan officiating. Burial will follow in Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Monroeville.

Visitation will be on Jan. 17 from 1 p.m. to 2 p.m. at the funeral home.
