Atmore man wanted by ECSO (Fla.) arrested on fugitive from just charges

An Atmore man wanted by the Escambia County (Fla.) Sheriff’s Office was arrested on fugitive from justice charges on Jan. 11, according to officials.
French
Atmore Police Department Public Information Officer Sgt. Darrell McMann said in a release that Deontra French, 33, was wanted by the ECSO (Fla.) in reference to a violation of probation arrest warrant.
McMann added that French had been previously convicted of murder.
French was then transported to the Escambia County Detention Center in Brewton where he is awaiting extradition back to Escambia County, Fla.
