Public meeting regarding possibility of citywide curfew postponed

The public meeting set to seek input regarding the possibility of a citywide curfew has been postponed until Thurs., Jan. 30, at 5:30 p.m. because of hazardous road conditions, city officials announced.
The meeting will be held at city hall, 201 E. Louisville Ave., Atmore.
Mayor Jim Staff and members of the Atmore City Council will be on hand to hear citizens’ concerns, according to Advance archives.
Chief Chuck Brooks and City Attorney Larry Wettermark will address residents and answer questions, according to a public notice.
Residents and business owners are encouraged to attend and provide input regarding the proposed curfew ordinance.
