Atmore Police Chief Chuck Brooks said this morning that for the most part, the roads look good except for areas the sun doesn’t reach.

“These areas include bottom of hills where roads are shady,” Brooks said in an email. “These areas still have some ice on the roadway.”

The high today is forecast to be 43 degrees for the Atmore area, according to the National Weather Service.

The low is going to be 19 degrees.

For the rest of the week, the high Friday is going to be 47 degrees with a low of 19 that night.

Then, on Saturday, the low that night is forecast to be 30 degrees.
