The Escambia County Board of Education approved the following personnel recommendations during its regular meeting on Jan. 27.

Retirement

  • George Brown, as assistant superintendent of student services at ECBOE, effective April 1, 2025;
  • Theresa White, as bookkeeper at Escambia County Middle School, effective March 1, 2025;
  • Jacquelin Hammond, as teacher at Flomaton High School, effective June 6, 2025;
  • Stella Hudson, as seven-hour custodian at W.S. Neal Middle School, effective June 6, 2025;

Resignation

  • Kim Yarber, as JAG Career Specialist at ECBOE, effective Jan. 31, 2025;
  • Tabatha Grah, as teacher aide at A.C. Moore Primary School, effective Jan. 10, 2025;
  • Patricia Bradley, as kindergarten teacher at ACMPS, effective Jan. 22, 2025;
  • Tawana Jones, as ELA teacher at Escambia County High School, effective, Jan. 6, 2025;
  • Jude Stanford, as teacher at ECMS, effective Jan. 3, 2025;
  • Amanda Shiver, as bus driver at Atmore Bus Shop, effective Jan. 17, 2025;
