Public meeting on possibility of citywide curfew to be held Thursday

The public meeting set to seek input regarding the possibility of a citywide curfew is this Thurs., Jan. 30, at 5:30 p.m.
The meeting was postponed from last week because of hazardous road conditions due to the snow event.
The meeting will be held at city hall, 201 E. Louisville Ave., Atmore.
Mayor Jim Staff and members of the Atmore City Council will be on hand to hear citizens’ concerns, according to Advance archives.
Chief Chuck Brooks and City Attorney Larry Wettermark will address residents and answer questions, according to a public notice.
Residents and business owners are encouraged to attend and provide input regarding the proposed curfew ordinance.
