An Atmore man turned himself in after an arrest warrant was issued for theft, according to officials.
Atmore Police Department Public Information Officer Sgt. Darrell McMann said Keith Drew, 57, turned himself in on a warrant for theft of property I.
McMann said on Nov. 26, 2024, an APD investigator was contacted by a victim in reference to financial improprieties they suspected their property manager of committing.
“The victim and the investigator reviewed financial records over a several month period,” McMann said. “The investigator interviewed the property manager, Keith Drew, age 57, of Atmore and requested records from Drew.”
McMann said upon reviewing all the requested documentation, the investigator consulted with the Escambia County District Attorneys Office and reviewed the case.
Drew turned himself into the Escambia County Detention Center in Brewton on January 30, 2025.
