“The officer noted suspicious behavior, and a K-9 was deployed,” McMann said. “The K-9 alerted on the vehicle, and a small amount of marijuana was discovered in the vehicle.”

McMann added that the officer checked Thomas’ identification, and discovered that he was wanted by the Okaloosa County Fla. Sheriff’s Office for possession of dangerous drugs.

Thomas was then transported to the Escambia County Detention Center in Brewton, and is awaiting extradition back to Okaloosa County.
