A Fairhope woman was injured in a single-vehicle collision on Highway 29 north of Highway 164 in McDavid, Fla. on March 16, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.
Trooper R. Rudd said in a release that the woman, 22, is in critical condition after losing control and colliding with a guardrail before over turning.
Rudd said the vehicle became engulfed in flames shortly afterward.
Rudd said the driver was extricated from the vehicle, and life flighted to the hospital for her injuries.
According to the FHP, the driver was the sole occupant of the vehicle, and the investigation is still ongoing.
