The Atmore City Council on Monday adopted a resolution for an agricultural lease for more than 30 acres next to the airport.

The resolution is 2025-07, and it’s with Michael Glick for 34 acres adjacent to the airport.

In other business, the city:

• approved District 4 Councilmember and Mayor Pro-Tem Shawn Lassiter as a voting delegate for the annual Alabama League of Municipalities Convention on May 15, 2025;

• approved Atmore Main Street’s request to hold its Bourbon Pairing Fundraiser at Heritage Park on May 22 from 5 p.m. until 11 p.m.; and,

• approved Don Taylor’s request for permission to hold the senior lead out for a community-sponsored prom at Heritage Park on April 11.
