Wrenleigh Nycole Thornton, an infant, of Booneville, was born on Aug. 2, 2024 at Mobile Infirmary, and gained her wings on March 20, 2025.

Wrenleigh is preceded in death by “Meme” Tara Renee Dortch and Vivan Thornton; a great-grandmother; and great-grandfather, Rubert Lassiter.
Wrenleigh is survived by her parents, Amy Morris and Cole Thornton; sisters, Serenity Phillips, Ella Phillips and Maliyah Phillips; brothers, Leland Thornton, Drake Thornton and Gunner Thornton; grandparents, James Morris, and Anthony and Stephanie Thornton; great-grandmother, Elosie Lassiter; great-grandparents, Sylvia and Joe Gipson; great-grandfather, Jack Thornton, and James (Carol) Brewer; great-grandmother, JoAnn (Robert) Black; aunt, Cierra Caraway “Derrick,” Dallas Rivers “Hunter,” Paige Morris, Taylor Dove, Chloe Morris, Sophia Morris and Kayleigh Mae; uncles, Tyler (Jeri) Thornton, Logan (Paige) Thornton and Barrett Morris; and numerous great-aunts and uncles and cousins.
A funeral service will be held on Wed., March 26, 2025 at 11 a.m. at McCullough Christian Center with Patrick Stanley officiating.
Burial will follow at McCullough Cemetery.
Visitation will be held on Tues., March 25, 2025 from 6 p.m. until 9 p.m. at McCullough Christian Center.
Pallbearers will be Anthony Thornton and Logan Thornton.
Honorary pallbearers will be James Morris and Tyler Thornton.
