Firefighters battled two blazes on Martin Luther King Avenue on March 22-23, according to the Atmore Fire Department.
Chief Ronald Peebles said the first fire occurred on March 22 at 1980 MLK Ave.
Peebles said the department was called at 6:30 p.m., arrived on scene 6 minutes later and cleared the scene at 7:20.
Peebles said no one was injured as the fire was contained in one room of the trailer.
“The trailer was being renovated, and one room caught on fire,” he said, adding that the cause is undetermined.
The second fire occurred at 1960 MLK Ave.
Peebles said a motorcycle caught on fire, and then extended to a shed and another vehicle.
Peebles said the AFD was called at 6:30 p.m., and cleared the scene at 7:02 p.m.
Additionally, the AFD provided mutual aid for Barnett Crossroads and Walnut Hill, Fla. late last week and into the weekend.
