Mrs. Amelia Patricia Solomon, 86, passed away peacefully on Tues., April 8, 2025, surrounded by the love and warmth of her family in Pensacola, Fla.

She is preceded in death by her parents, John Dewey and Lucy Serina Vaughan; husband, Preston Solomon; two brothers, John Henry Vaughan and Dewey Vaughan; sister, Loretta Cox; and granddaughter, Mattie Elizabeth Solomon.
She is survived by one daughter, Amelia Solomon (Randy) Frahm of Rockwood, Tenn.; two sons, John Preston (Stephanie) Solomon of Walnut Hill, Fla. and Joseph Michael (Denise) Solomon of Markham, Texas; five grandchildren, Tabitha Frahm Carter (Jasen) Jordan “Luci” Frahm, JP (Dera) Solomon, Levi (Alyssa) Solomon and Makenna (Jacob) Krenek; three great-grandchildren, Harrison, Eli and Weslie; and honorary grandchild, Roy Garza’.
Funeral services will be held this Sat., April 12, 2025 at 10 a.m. at Petty Funeral Homes LLC with Bruce Godwin officiating.
Visitation will be held on Fri., April 11, 2025 from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. at Petty Funeral Homes LLC.
Pallbearers will be JP Solomon, Levi Solomon, Jordan “Luci” Frahm, Jacob Krenek, Makenna Krenek and Tabitha Frahm Carter
Burial will follow at Walnut Hill Baptist Church Cemetery.
Petty-Eastside Chapel Funeral Home LLC in Atmore is in charge of all arrangements.
