Flomaton beats Murphy on senior night, Chiefs fall in close game to T.R. Miller Tuesday

Flomaton beat Murphy 18-0 on senior night Tuesday at home.
The Canes scored three runs in the first inning, eight runs in the second and seven in the third.
Flomaton’s Braden Nall led off the game with a solo homerun in the first. Zach Hester, Cody Grimes and Jace Hammond had two RBIs each. Chris Pose added three RBIs in the win.
Prior to the game, a senior night ceremony was held for Harper Harrison.
Harrison threw out a ceremonial first pitch to his younger brother, Riley.
Harris is the son of Chris and Courtney Harrison.
In other baseball action, Northview fell to T.R. Miller 3-2, and Escambia Academy lost to Fort Dale 8-7.

Jackson Bridges struck out seven and allowed two earned runs on four hits in 5.0 innings for the Chiefs.
Three pitchers took the mound for the Tigers, including Nathan Commander, who allowed two runs on three hits in more than two innings.

Traegan James led the Cougars with three hits and an RBI; and Daygon Slate had a hit and two RBIs. Slate’s hit in the seventh tied the game at 7-all.
Northview softball 7, Gulf Breeze 4
In softball action, Northview topped Gulf Breeze, Fla. 7-4.
Daviona Randolph, Avery Stuckey and Mikayla McAnally had two hits each to lead the Lady Chiefs.
