Atmore man arrested April 11 on domestic violence charges

An Atmore man was arrested April 11 on domestic violence charges, according to officials.

Atmore Police Department Public Information Officer Sgt. Darrell McMann said in a release that Michael Duncan, 52, was arrested and charged with domestic violence strangulation or suffocation, and transported to the Escambia County Detention Center in Brewton.

McMann said at approximately 2:15 p.m. on Friday, APD officers responded to a residence on South Road in reference to a domestic disturbance.

“During the officers’ investigation and visible injuries to the victim, the officers arrested Michael Duncan, 52, of Atmore,” McMann said.
