Roosevelt Sager, 84, of Stapleton, passed away on April 18, 2025 in Century, Fla.

Roosevelt was born on June 18, 1940 to Dave Sagar and Innear Blackmon.

Roosevelt is preceded in death by his parents, Dave Sager and Innear Blackmon Sager; his first wife, Patricia Ann Sager; his second wife, Dorothy Sager; brothers, Franklin Sager, Lynwood Sager and A.T. Lewis Sager; sister, Pearlyn Irene Sager; and brother in law, O’Neal Holder.

Roosevelt is survived by his sons, Larry (Rachel) Sager of Milton, Fla. and Barry (Adrianna) Sager of Bratt, Fla.; his step-children, Teresa (Derwin) Chastang and Dwane (Darlene) Homan; his sister, Rebecca Holder of Goodway; grandchildren, Kenneth Sager (Mary Warren), Danielle Fay (Salem Fay), Dillion Sager (Carli Hadley), Arissa Sager (Dalton Coleman), Dalton Sager (Jennifer Reiser),Taylor Smith (Charlie Smith), Payton, Berkley Shumpert and Luke Hodge; and numerous other grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Funeral services for Roosevelt will be held at 3 p.m. on Tues., April 22, 2025 at the Johnson-Quimby Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow at Bay Minette Cemetery in Bay Minette.

Visitation for Roosevelt will be on April 22, 2025 at Johnson-Quimby Funeral Home from 2 p.m. until service time.
