Northview beats Tate, Fla. 9-4 Tuesday night in regular season finale

Northview’s Mikayla McAnally allowed four earned runs on eight hits and struck out eight in a complete game to help lead the Lady Chiefs to a 9-4 victory over Tate, Fla. Tuesday night.
McAnally faced 33 batters, and threw 72 strikes during the contest, which was Northview’s final regular season game at home.
Daviona Randolph, Riley Brooks and McAnally had two hits each to lead the Lady Chiefs.
Kylee Langham hit a two-run homerun in the bottom of the first inning to give NHS an early 2-0 lead.
In the bottom of the fifth, the Lady Chiefs scored five runs on two hits. Jamison Gilman hit a two-run single during the frame.
Northview will play in the FHSAA Class 1A, District 1 tournament beginning on Mon., April 28.
