The Escambia County Board of Education approved the following personnel recommendations during its regular meeting April 24:

Retirement

  • April Dunsford, as secretary at Flomaton Elementary School, effective June 6, 2025;
  • Angela Brown, as teacher at Huxford Elementary School, effective June 1;
  • Donna Watson, as academic interventionist at HES, effective May 23;
  • Rhecy Curris, as teacher at Rachel Patterson Elementary School, effective July 1;
  • Tonya Emmons, as teacher at RPES, effective May 23;
