One hundred vendors will be lining the walkway at Tom Byrne Park for this year’s Mayfest, which will be held this Sat., May 3.
Mayfest is an annual festival sponsored by the Atmore Area Chamber of Commerce.
During the day, several activities will be held, including the annual Beautiful Baby Contest. Twenty-five babies are slated to compete in the contest.
A night prior, the annual Miss Mayfest Pageant will be held. Twenty-eight girls will compete for the title
The full schedule for Mayfest is below:
Fri., May 2
• 6 p.m. until 9 p.m. – Miss Mayfest Pageant at Escambia County High School
Sat., May 3
• 6 a.m. – Set-up/check-in begins for vendors
• 8 a.m. – All vehicles must be removed from interior of park (city locks gate)
• 7:30 a.m. – Pickleball games begin
• 9 a.m. – Opening ceremonies
