Atmore Chamber of Commerce officials said today they’re monitoring the weather, and plan to move forward with Mayfest tomorrow as scheduled.
“We’re looking forward to a fun-filled day and can’t wait to see everyone there,” chamber officials said.
According to the National Weather Service, there is an 80 percent coverage chance of showers gradually turning into a 90 percent coverage chance of thunderstorms during the day.
A 50 percent coverage chance of thunderstorms is forecasted for Saturday night.
