An Atmore woman was arrested May 4 on possession of drugs and criminal trespassing charges, according to officials.
Atmore Police Department Public Information Officer Sgt. Darrell McMann said in a release that Nikki Presley, 25, was arrested and charged with possession of a controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia and criminal trespassing III.
McMann said at approximately 11:45 a.m. Sunday, APD officers responded to Walmart in reference to Presley coming into the store after being trespassed by the store’s loss prevention department.
“Upon contacting Presley, the officers discovered that Presley had several outstanding misdemeanor arrest warrants with APD,” McMann said. “The officers searched Presley’s bag, and discovered a small amount of a crystal-like substance that field tested positive for methamphetamine as well as a pipe with methamphetamine residue.”
Presley was then transported to the Escambia County Detention Center in Brewton.
