An Atmore woman turned herself in on a theft of property warrant May 6, according to officials.

Atmore Police Department Public Information Officer Sgt. Darrell McMann said in a release that Katrinka Phillips, 41, turned herself into the Escambia County Detention Center in Brewton today.
McMann said on May 2, an APD investigator met with members of a local financial institution and a local community organization in reference to an alleged theft that occurred over an extended period of time.
“The investigator examined financial records with a fraud examiner,” McMann said. “The investigator obtained an arrest warrant for theft of property I for (Phillips).”
