Cindy was born in Atmore to Martin Anthony and Collie Brooks.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Darrell Lavoy Gregson; her father, Martin Anthony Brooks; infant sister, Sandra Kay Brooks; paternal grandparents, Martin Luther and Daphne Mae (Hinson) Brooks; maternal grandparents, Bob and Velma (Gilmore) Black; and a niece, Connor Morgan Hall.

She is survived by a son, Nicholas Tyler (Allison) Gregson; a granddaughter, Ariana Gregson, both of Thomasville; her mother, Collie Brooks of Atmore; two sisters, Tracy Brooks Hall of Atmore and Mandy Brooks (Jason) Robinson of Pine Orchard; three nephews, Corey Brooks, Logan Robinson and Hagen Robinson; two nieces, Hannah Dailey and MacKenzie Thomason; two stepdaughters, Terri Gregson and Tiffany Gregson of Tuscaloosa; and two stepsons, Tim Gregson and Tad Gregson of Pine Hill.

She was a 1984 graduate of Baldwin County High School and a 1986 graduate of Faulkner State. Cindy was outgoing in life. She loved music, the Auburn Tigers, watching wrestling, reading, traveling, connecting with friends and being a Gammy to Ariana.

Darrell was the love of her life and with him by her side, she saw and lived in so many places. They loved adventure and traveling and made memories few get to have. She loved her family and she will be greatly missed by them.

Graveside services will be held on Fri., May 9, 2025 at 3 p.m. at Poplar Springs Cemetery in Uriah.
