Rebecca Lynn “Becky” Hadley Newsome, affectionately known as Becky, was born on Dec. 4, 1975, in Atmore to Betty and Roger Hadley at Greenlawn Hospital. Becky passed away May 6, 2025 at her home in Perdido.
Becky is survived by Terry Newsome; her father, Roger Hadley; stepmother, Wanda Hadley; children, Brad (Tera) Newsome of Bay Minette, Terrence (Sierra) Newsome of Stockton and Hadleigh Lynn Newsome of Bay Minette; five grandchildren, Bentley Newsome, Eli Newsome, Brycen Newsome, Blayden Newsome and Talon Newsome. She is also survived by her siblings, Jason (April) Hadley of Bay Minette, Shawanna (Tyrone) James of Bay Minette, Jennifer (Gino) Accettullo of Ft. Walton, Fla., Josey (Sarah) Hadley of Perdido and Dawn Williams of Perdido.
Becky was a beloved aunt to 17 nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Betty Flowers; stepfather, Robert Flowers; and brother in law, Christopher Newsome.
Funeral services will be held on May 10, 2025 at 2 p.m. at Petty-Eastside Chapel Funeral Homes LLC with Sister Helen Stewart officiating.
Burial will follow at Bryars McGill Cemetery.
Visitation will be held on May 10, 2025 from 12:30 p.m. until service time at Petty-Eastside Chapel Funeral Homes LLC.
Pallbearers will be Billy Gardner, Justin Ramer, Clayton Hadley, Dalton Lister, Dane Hayden and Jeremy Joiner.
Honorary pallbearers will be Traegan James, Jace Hadley, Braiden Williams, Kainnan Pintarelli and Kin Kade Hadley.
Petty-Eastside Chapel Funeral Home LLC in Atmore is in charge of all arrangements.
