It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Debra Jean Sims Albritton, affectionately known as “Sis” or “Debbie,” who left this world on May 5, 2025, at the age of 63.

Debbie was a devoted wife to her beloved husband of 43 years, Steve Albritton, of Booneville; and a nurturing mother to her three children, Ryan (Leslie) Albritton, of Booneville, Kyle (Haley) Albritton, of Spanish Fort and Jessica Albritton, of McCullough.

Her legacy continues through her four cherished grandchildren, Brea Rolin, Hudson Albritton, Allie Albritton and Jocee Terhune, who brought her immense joy and pride.
In addition to her immediate family, Debbie is survived by her sister, Pamela (Michael) Godwin, of Booneville; her two brothers, Terry Sims, of McCullough and Thomas Sims, of Booneville; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, family and friends.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Horace Edward (Betty Jean Gregson) Sims; and one brother, Bobby Lassitter.
Visitation will be held on May 12, 2025 from 1 p.m. until service time at 2 p.m. at Petty-Eastside Chapel Funeral Homes LLC.

Funeral services will be held on May 12, 2025 at 2 p.m. at Petty-Eastside Chapel Funeral Homes LLC with Brother Davison Carter officiating.

Pallbearers will be Chris Dunn, Charles Michael Gregson, Tim Gregson, Shannon Gregson, Claude Turberville and Brandon Blanton.
Honorary pallbearers will be Michael Godwin, Jackson Reid and Cole Vice.
Petty-Eastside Chapel Funeral Home LLC in Atmore is in charge of all arrangements.
