With deep love and heartfelt sorrow, we announce the passing of Joseph Clyde Lowe, who departed this life on earth May 10, 2025, at the age of 77.

He is survived by his loving wife, Sheila Lowe; and his children, Ashley Lowe, Stacey Lowe (Gary) and Tracey Reed (Joel). As “Paw Paw,” he was deeply loved by his grandchildren, Rickey, Makenzie, Britney, Lewis, Glen, Arianna and Alyssa; his four great-grandchildren; and four bonus grandchildren who brought him tremendous joy. He was a treasured uncle to many nieces and nephews, each one was held very close to his heart. He is also survived by his sisters, Pamela Williams, Robin Smith (Jeff) and Vicky Lowe Hill.

Joe is preceded in death by his mother, Juanita Lowe; his father, Sheldon Lowe; his grandparents, Ruth and Fred Byrd; and best friends, Joe O’Barr, Lenzy “Pee-Wee” Williams.

Funeral services will be held on Thurs., May 15, 2025, at 2 p.m. at Johnson-Quimby Funeral Home Chapel, 1322 S. Main St., Atmore, AL 36502, with Bro. Trevor Daughtry officiating.

Interment will follow in Judson Cemetery. The immediate family will have a private gathering with Joe from noon until 12:30 p.m.

Active pallbearers will be Lewis Reed, Glen Reed, Jerry Rester, Britney Williams, Devon Robinson, John O’Barr, Ernest “Tinker” Rolin and Ernest “Bubba White Pony” Rolin.

A visitation for family and friends will be held from 12:30 p.m. until the service begins at Johnson-Quimby Funeral Home.
