Mr. John Cecil Hammond, 73, of Mineola, passed away peacefully at his home on Sat., May 10, 2025.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Cecil Clyde and Nellie Lucille Payne Hammond; his sister, Karin Elaine Hammond; and nephew, Steven Daniel Hammond.
He is survived by his loving wife of 35 years, Willonette Hammond, of Mineola; a son, Christopher Douglas Moye, of Flomaton; and his grandchildren, CJ and Blake Moye.

A memorial service will be held on May 19, 2025 at 6 p.m. at McCullough Christian Center with the Rev. Cornelius Phillipos officiating.
