Northview’s Lady Chiefs fell 11-1 to Trenton, Fla. in the FHSAA Class Rural State Softball Championship Wednesday at Boombah-Soldiers Creek Park in Longwood.

The Lady Tigers scored three runs in the first inning, and four runs each in the third and fifth.

Trenton’s Addison Allaire struck out 12 and allowed one run on one hit in 5.0 innings to earn the win in the circle.

Northview’s Jamison Gilman, the lone senior, led the Lady Chiefs with an RBI. Avery Stuckey had one hit.

Trenton’s Charleigh Philmon went 3-for-3 for the day.

The Lady Chiefs end their season 22-7.
