Economic development. It is important to work with the County Commissioners to create a Joint Economic Development Commission.
Infrastructure. Atmore is in dire need of infrastructure updates like wheelchair accessible sidewalks, bike lanes, better parking and lights at the parks and residential streets, and update the water treatment facility.
Public Safety. I will promote Public Safety Initiatives such as crime prevention programs, city-wide community policing, emergency preparedness, and solutions that address the social issues that contribute to crime.
“I have the experience in community service necessary to be an effective leader, and am aware of underserved areas that seemingly have been neglected for decades,” Gray said. “I will work diligently to see that all areas of Atmore benefit from federal, state, and local tax dollars needed to improve neighborhood infrastructures. Together we will build our economy and create a city that works for all of Atmore’s citizens.”
