Bay Minette PD still seeking suspect accused of Atmore man’s death

The Bay Minette Police Department is still actively searching for Dacareus Mallory Andrews, who is wanted in connection with a murder that occurred on May 23, according to officials.

According to the BMPD’s Facebook page, the murder occurred near the 900 block of Daphne Road, and the incident resulted in the death of Dyrontae Booker, of Atmore.
A BMPD officer witnessed Andrews fleeing on foot, and was last seen armed with a handgun allegedly used in the crime. According to officials, Andrews has a violent history, including previous convictions for assault I and should be considered armed and dangerous.
An active warrant for murder has been issused for his arrest.
