American Idol Winner Jamal Roberts performed to an attentive and excited crowd June 14 at Boxcar Willie.

Roberts performed as a part of the live entertainment during Main Street Atmore’s Bee More Summer Festival, which was held throughout the day.

The festival included bee exhibits at the American Legion, and the umbrella alley re-grand opening.

Prior to Roberts’ performance, Interim Mayor Shawn Lassiter presented him with a key to the city, and City Clerk Becca Smith presented a drawing of Roberts with his three daughters, Harmoni, Lyrik and Gianna.
