Flomaton man arrested June 22 on possession of drug charges

A Flomaton man was arrested June 22 on possession of drug charges, according to the Atmore Police Department.

Public Information Officer Sgt. Darrell McMann said in a release that Noah Lee, 40, was arrested and charged with possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia.

McMann said at approximately 4:40 p.m. on Sunday, an APD officer responded to a residence in the 10000 block of Highway 31 in reference to a suspicious person refusing to leave the property.

“The officer arrived and contacted the suspicious person who was later identified as Noah Lee, age 40, of Flomaton,” McMann said. “During the officer’s interaction with Lee, he noted suspicious behavior and asked Lee if he had anything illegal on his person. Lee reached into his pocket and removed a plastic baggy containing a small amount of methamphetamine and a glass pipe commonly used to ingest narcotics.”

Lee was then transported to the Escambia County Detention Center in Brewton.
