An Atmore woman may be facing charges in Escambia County Florida after causing a two-vehicle accident early Friday morning on Highway 29, south of Cox Road.

Anna Maria Rae Lynn, 27, was traveling north on Highway 29 in a 1999 Ford Taurus Friday at approximately 3:35 a.m. when her vehicle began drifting off the road according to the Florida High Way Patrol accident report. Lynn’s vehicle collided with a 2010 Mazda parked legally on the east shoulder of the road, facing north.

The impact of the collision pushed the Mazda, driven by Dwayne K. Fountain, 22, of Florence, into a nearby wooded area. Lynn’s vehicle came to a stop on the inside lane of the roadway.
