Home-based crafts businesses will be on display today at Heritage Park during the “@More Arts and Crafts Fair.”

Mandie Thompson and Amanda Siler organized the event, which allows vendors to promote their businesses without a storefront. They hope the fair can become at least a bi-monthly exhibition.

“We hope we can make this an every-other-month, or once-a-month (event),” Thompson said.

The fair will take place from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. and 15 vendors have signed up for the fair, with the possibility of more signing up today.

“We’re hoping to have more sign up (this) morning,” Thompson said.

Vendors paid $20 to participate in the fair. Thompson said all proceeds will either go toward the festival, or will be donated back into the community.

Thompson said the next fair is also in the works. 10 vendors have signed up already for the fair on Saturday, Nov. 16.
