The “Market in the Park” has been a success since moving to its new location, according to Sheryl Vickery, executive director of the Atmore Area Chamber of Commerce.

In fact, Vickery said that the market has been so popular that an additional one will be held this Saturday. The Market in the Park will be Saturday, from 7:30 a.m. until 11 a.m.

“We have had several farmers and community members express interest in having another market in July,” Vickery said. “We’re excited to offer it again. This event is not just for the farmers, but for the whole community.”

There is another Market in the Park scheduled for the same time and location, on Saturday, Aug. 9.
