The 12 Atmore Chamber Ambassadors will march in Gov. Robert Bentley’s inauguration parade in Montgomery later this month.

Sheryl Vickery, executive director of the Atmore Area Chamber of Commerce, said that State Rep. Alan Baker nominated the Atmore high school students to march in the parade, and his nomination was accepted. The parade will be Monday, Jan. 19, in downtown Montgomery.

“It’s a very exciting opportunity for these kids,” Vickery said.
