An Atmore man died in a motorcycle crash on Highway 59 near Stockton this afternoon, according to Alabama State Troopers.

Trooper Kevin Cook said Orrie Hubert Bradford, 83, was killed when the 1999 Harley Davidson he was operating struck a guardrail and crashed.

Cook said Bradford was pronounced dead at the scene, and added that the crash occurred at 1:35 p.m. on Highway 59 at the 55.35-mile marker, 1 mile southeast of Stockton.

Nothing further is available as troopers continue to investigate the crash.
