ATMORE – Ervie S. Bray, 84, walked into the arms of her Heavenly Father on May 27, 2010. Her loving husband of 35 years, James Howard Bray, was there to welcome her.

She was a native of Monroe County and a resident of Atmore. She was a member of First Assembly of God of Atmore and retired from Vanity Fair.

Her father and mother, John and Ruby Sellers; two brothers, Rayford and Charles Sellers and a sister, Atha Hale, preceded her in death.

Survivors include, two daughters, Celene (Pete) McGhee of Nokomis and Gina (Steve) Harrison of Atmore; five grandchildren, Keith Griffith, Shawn Brown, Robby Brown, Shaina Brown and Heather Harrison; three great grandchildren; a brother, Archie (Cleo) Sellers of Atmore; a special niece, Vickie Carrier of Atmore and numerous other nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. on Sunday, May 30, 2010 with Brother Richard Daniels officiating and burial following in Oak Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be held this evening, May 29, 2010 from 5 p.m. until 7 p.m.

Pallbearers will be Keith Griffith, Shawn Brown, Robby Brown, Buddy Carrier, Randy Ingram and Bo Ingram.

Johnson-Quimby Funeral Home, Inc is in charge of all arrangements.
