A two-vehicle accident was reported at approximately 12:15 p.m. at the intersection of South Main Street and Brookwood Drive next to Johnson-Quimby Funeral Home.

Involved in the accident were a GMC Envoy and an Atmore Utilities Board truck towing a piece of heavy equipment on a trailer. The truck was moving southbound down Main Street with the Envoy behind it when the incident occurred.
