ATMORE – Elder Freddie Larry Cooper was born to the late Fred and Margaret Cooper of Uriah on June 11, 1955. Elder Cooper transcended from his earthly vessel to retrieve his heavenly reward on Wednesday, Sept. 15, 2010 at 4 p.m.

One sister, Annie Daily, of Atmore, preceded him in death.

He leaves to cherish his loving and kind memories, nine children, Timothy Lewis Cooper, Freddie Cooper and Kevin Bernard Cooper, all of Atmore, Larry Tyrone (Sherika) Pettway of Camden, Gary James, Freddie James and Chiquita Annette James, all of Bay Minette and Dean Woods of Stockton; 14 sisters and brothers, Annie Shomo, Ethel (Willie) Tate, Estella Cooper and  Barbara Cooper, all of Mobile, Fred (Alberta) Cooper, George (Sherri) Cooper and Trenice (Leroy) Brown of Uriah, Armelia (Arthur) Maye, Annice (James) North, Margaret (Kenneth) Dickerson, Angela Bright, Roger (Stephanie) Cooper, Margaret Ann (Walter) Lymon and Barron Dirden, all of Atmore; 22 grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 25, 2010 and his remains will lie instate at noon at the Jones Street True Pentecostal Holiness Church in Atmore. Bishop Willie L. Williams, pastor, will be officiating.

Visitation will be held from 5 p.m. until 7 p.m. on Friday, Sept. 24, 2010 at the Mayberry Funeral Home.

Mayberry Funeral Home, LLC of Atmore will be directing.
