Lady Chiefs head coach Betty Heaton said her team could not find the stability they needed to get control early in the match, and added that was the same problem that hurt them in the fifth game.

“The varsity squad struggled to find the stability we needed through the first and second game,” Heaton said.  “In the third and fourth game they game out and played hard and were much more consistent.  In the fifth and final game the stability they lacked in the first and second game came back and we were unable to fix it before the game was over.”

Lady Chiefs senior Shawna Montgomery led the team with 30 kills, three aces, one block and one dig in the match.

Senior Sarah Killam recorded 16 assists and three kills in the match, while junior Josie Doucette had two aces and six kills.
