Officials for Save-A-Life Escambia County are hoping the inspirational message presented by Pam Tebow will help to bring awareness to the mission of the pro-life organization.

Stephanie Agerton, director for the local organization, said a presentation by Tebow on Oct. 18 will be held to help with that cause.

“She has such a wonderful story and tells it well,” Agerton said. “We are a pro-life organization and she is an advocate of the pro-life mission. We are lucky to be able to get her to come to Brewton to speak on behalf of Save-A-Life.”

Tebow will speak at First Baptist Church of Brewton beginning at 7 p.m. with a dessert social to follow the presentation.

“We are doing this instead of our usual annual banquet,” Agerton said. “The opportunity to have Pam Tebow speak in Escambia County is one we certainly wanted to take advantage of this year.”

The event will be the only fundraiser for the organization, Agerton said.

“We are a non-profit organization and most no-profits are struggling right now because of the economy,” Agerton said. “This event will be our only effort at raising funds for Save-A-Life. We appreciate any and all donations throughout the year, but this will be our only fundraiser event.”
