An Atmore woman and an East Brewton man were injured in a two-vehicle accident just before 5:30 p.m. Thursday on U.S. 31 North.

According to Alabama State Trooper officials, Bridgett Louise Richardson, 23, of Atmore was injured when the 1989 Oldsmobile she was involved in the accident near the 6-mile marker of the north bound lanes of U.S. 31.

Nathan Bryan Pugh, 20, of East Brewton was the driver of a 1987 pick-up truck and was also injured in the accident.

Life Flight transported Richardson to Sacred Heart Hospital in Pensacola, Fla. and Pugh was transported by ambulance to D.W. McMillan Hospital, according to the Trooper’s report.
