ATMORE – Louise Elizabeth Cooke, 89, of Atmore died Sunday, Dec. 5, 2010 in Atmore.

She was a retired Registered Nurse, born in Bay Minette on June 22, 1921 to the late Mark Arron and Minnie Blackmon Presnall.

Her husband, Harvey Cooke; two brothers, James Arron and Buford Arron and two sisters, Bernice Lundberg and Lucille Currie, preceded her in death.

Survivors include, one son, Richard Cooke and wife, Carole, of Baton Rouge, La.; four daughters, Sherry Antram of Tennessee, Debra Harrison and husband, Ronnie, of Semmes, Susan Brown of Atmore and Cynthia Formby and husband, James, of Walnut Hill, Fla.; 11 grandchildren, Angie, Kimberly, Meredith, Nicole, Richard, Amanda, Chris Clint, Shelley, Brandon and Blair and several great grandchildren. A special thank you to her caregiver, Carmen McDonald.

Services will be held at 2 p.m. on Thursday, Dec. 9, 2010 from Johnson-Quimby Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Mike Grindle officiating. Interment will follow in Oak Hill Cemetery.

Active pallbearers will be Chris Brown, Richard Harrison, Chad Taylor, Brandon Phillips, Ronnie Harrison and Nicholas Driver.

Family will receive friends from noon until service time on Thursday, Dec. 9, 2010 at Johnson-Quimby Funeral Home.
